David Charles is a professional monitor and provides supervised visitation services in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Clarita Counties in accordance with California Rules of Court § 26.2. He worked for several years as the director of the non-profit Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles. He was co-creator of the first Multicultural Men’s Conference in Malibu, CA where he organized an event to address issues facing men of all backgrounds. He worked with children for years as a poetry teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, often teaching at continuation schools working with children experiencing great difficulties at home.

A father himself, David works with people from all walks of life including families facing the most difficult challenges caused by separation, divorce and domestic violence. He will work to ensure the physical and emotional safety of children and to alleviate stress and anxiety by maintaining a comfortable, secure atmosphere that is respectful to adults, and that enables children to relax and just be children.
